鋰電池充電器LCD電量顯示

   思旺電子開發出一款為鋰電池充電器 (萬能充/座充)設計的配套LCD/LED驅動電路SE9120,在顯示電池電量的同時還能顯示充電進度和(he)電池充飽(bao)狀態。下(xia)文(wen)將重點介紹SE9120的(de)主(zhu)要技術特點。

  SE9120主要功能

  SE9120主要功能包括電池電量檢測及充電進度顯示功能,能夠通過電路內部自動判斷電池極性,自動切換到電池正確的極性,解決用戶在裝載電池時需要人工判斷電池極性的問題。在檢測電池極性的同時,SE9120能夠檢測電池的電量,同時SE9120是第一款創新的用4位分段顯示的方法,驅動4柱LCD屏,使用戶可以查看電池電量的集成電路。

  SE9120是(shi)一(yi)款高智(zhi)能的(de)(de)數模混合電(dian)(dian)路,該芯片采用數模混合方式,通過4位(wei)柱狀顯(xian)(xian)示(shi)LCD屏或LED屏,在顯(xian)(xian)示(shi)電(dian)(dian)池(chi)電(dian)(dian)量的(de)(de)同時(shi)還能顯(xian)(xian)示(shi)充電(dian)(dian)進度和電(dian)(dian)池(chi)充飽狀態。SE9120的(de)(de)內部(bu)結構如圖1所示(shi)。主要包括五大功(gong)能模塊:基(ji)準電(dian)(dian)壓單元;電(dian)(dian)池(chi)電(dian)(dian)量檢測單元;顯(xian)(xian)示(shi)邏輯單元;LCD驅動(dong)單元;LED背光(guang)驅動(dong)單元。

  電(dian)(dian)池(chi)電(dian)(dian)量檢(jian)測單元

  SE9120通過電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)量檢測(ce)(ce)單(dan)元中的B1電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)量信(xin)息單(dan)元,探測(ce)(ce)到電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池兩端的電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓和(he)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池的極(ji)性,然(ran)后自動轉(zhuan)換電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池極(ji)性,并將電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池的電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓傳送給B2模(mo)數(shu)轉(zhuan)換單(dan)元,然(ran)后模(mo)數(shu)控制單(dan)元將這個電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)量的信(xin)號,與(yu)內建精準(zhun)的基準(zhun)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓單(dan)元提供(gong)的參考電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓進(jin)行比較,從而將模(mo)擬(ni)的電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)量信(xin)號,轉(zhuan)換為數(shu)字信(xin)號,提供(gong)給后級電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)路。

  阻(zu)抗跟(gen)(gen)(gen)蹤(IT)技術非常獨(du)特,比現有解決方案更為精確,原因是該技術具(ju)有的(de)自學習機制能解決導致(zhi)電(dian)池阻(zu)抗及(ji)空載條件下化學全容量(liang)(QMAX)發生變化的(de)老化問題。阻(zu)抗跟(gen)(gen)(gen)蹤技術使(shi)用動態模擬算法(fa)學習并跟(gen)(gen)(gen)蹤電(dian)池特性,即在電(dian)池實(shi)際使(shi)用過程(cheng)中,先測量(liang)阻(zu)抗及(ji)容量(liang)值(zhi),然(ran)后跟(gen)(gen)(gen)蹤其變化。使(shi)用該算法(fa)則無需定期進行完(wan)整周期容量(liang)校正。

  利用(yong)電(dian)(dian)池(chi)阻抗知(zhi)識,能夠實現(xian)精(jing)確的負載及溫度補償(chang)。最重要的是,通過(guo)對電(dian)(dian)池(chi)參數(shu)的動態學習,該測量(liang)(liang)法(fa)在(zai)電(dian)(dian)池(chi)的整個使用(yong)壽命內都能對電(dian)(dian)量(liang)(liang)進(jin)行精(jing)確的測量(liang)(liang)。與單獨使用(yong)庫(ku)侖(lun)計數(shu)法(fa)或(huo)電(dian)(dian)池(chi)電(dian)(dian)壓相關法(fa)相比,阻抗跟蹤技術在(zai)測量(liang)(liang)電(dian)(dian)池(chi)剩余容(rong)量(liang)(liang)方面更(geng)加出色。

  顯示邏輯單元

  顯示邏(luo)輯單元是整個電(dian)(dian)路(lu)的核心單元,該單元需要將前級輸送的電(dian)(dian)池電(dian)(dian)量信息(xi)和其他(ta)檢(jian)測信號進行邏(luo)輯判斷,顯示邏(luo)輯單元又包括(kuo)以下幾個重要組成部分:C1-振蕩器;C2-頻率(lv)選擇(ze)單元;C3-電(dian)(dian)池短路(lu)檢(jian)測;C4-電(dian)(dian)源電(dian)(dian)池電(dian)(dian)壓比較單元;C5-電(dian)(dian)池充飽檢(jian)測。

  其中,振(zhen)蕩(dang)器單元(yuan)為(wei)整個系(xi)統提(ti)供振(zhen)蕩(dang)信號(hao),由于LCD需要用開關(guan)信號(hao)控(kong)制(zhi),所以振(zhen)蕩(dang)器不僅為(wei)LCD提(ti)供基準的(de)(de)開關(guan)信號(hao),還作為(wei)邏輯控(kong)制(zhi)信號(hao)控(kong)制(zhi)LCD的(de)(de)亮暗。頻率選擇(ze)單元(yuan)將振(zhen)蕩(dang)器輸入的(de)(de)信號(hao)進(jin)行(xing)整合,實(shi)現電池電量分(fen)段顯(xian)(xian)示(shi)的(de)(de)功能(neng):Vbat<3.7V,能(neng)量低于40%,LCD顯(xian)(xian)示(shi)屏(ping)四個格(ge)全滅(mie);3.7V4.0V,能(neng)量約(yue)為(wei)100%,LCD顯(xian)(xian)示(shi)屏(ping)四個格(ge)全亮。

  本方案采用變頻(pin)技術,在顯示充(chong)電進(jin)度時(shi),每當一個(ge)bar停止閃(shan)爍(shuo)時(shi),對還在閃(shan)爍(shuo)的(de)其他bar調(diao)整頻(pin)率。當只剩下一個(ge)bar閃(shan)爍(shuo)時(shi),閃(shan)爍(shuo)占空比為50%.

  電(dian)源電(dian)池(chi)電(dian)壓比(bi)較單元通(tong)過比(bi)較電(dian)源與電(dian)池(chi)的電(dian)壓,判斷充電(dian)器是處在只(zhi)接電(dian)池(chi)的狀(zhuang)態還是充電(dian)狀(zhuang)態,當只(zhi)接電(dian)池(chi)的狀(zhuang)態時(shi),SE9120分段顯示(shi)(shi)電(dian)池(chi)電(dian)量。在充電(dian)狀(zhuang)態下,SE9120會控制LCD滾動(dong)(dong)顯示(shi)(shi)。具(ju)體分為以下幾(ji)種情況:Vbat<3.7V,能(neng)量低(di)于(yu)40%,LCD四(si)格(ge)滾動(dong)(dong)顯示(shi)(shi);

  3.7V4.0V且(qie)C5電(dian)池(chi)充飽檢測(ce)(ce)單(dan)元檢測(ce)(ce)到(dao)電(dian)池(chi)已(yi)經充滿(man),能量約為100%,LCD顯示屏四個格全亮。

  LCD驅動單元

  該(gai)單元(yuan)不僅是(shi)給LCD屏一個驅動(dong),此外,SE9120還解(jie)決了傳統方(fang)(fang)案中,通過單邊驅動(dong)LCD的(de)(de)方(fang)(fang)法導致(zhi)低電壓(ya)時(shi)LCD顯示(shi)亮度(du)不足(zu)的(de)(de)問(wen)題。SE9120采用創新的(de)(de)雙邊驅動(dong)LCD方(fang)(fang)法使得(de)電壓(ya)較(jiao)低時(shi)仍能夠保持較(jiao)高(gao)的(de)(de)LCD亮度(du)。

  LED背光驅動(dong)單元

  該單(dan)元(yuan)智能(neng)控制LED背光(guang)功能(neng),當(dang)只(zhi)接電(dian)(dian)池(chi)時,可自動關閉LED藍(lan)色背光(guang),因而達到了省電(dian)(dian)的(de)功效(xiao),同時也減(jian)少了電(dian)(dian)池(chi)的(de)消耗。

  LED背(bei)(bei)光(guang)(guang)被(bei)用(yong)在小巧、廉價的(de)LCD面板(ban)(ban)上(shang)(shang)。他的(de)光(guang)(guang)通常(chang)是(shi)有顏色(se)(se)的(de),雖然(ran)白(bai)色(se)(se)背(bei)(bei)光(guang)(guang)已經(jing)(jing)(jing)愈(yu)來(lai)愈(yu)普遍了。電光(guang)(guang)面板(ban)(ban)經(jing)(jing)(jing)常(chang)被(bei)使用(yong)在大型顯(xian)示(shi)上(shang)(shang),這時(shi)均(jun)勻的(de)背(bei)(bei)光(guang)(guang)是(shi)很(hen)重要(yao)的(de)。電光(guang)(guang)面板(ban)(ban)需(xu)要(yao)經(jing)(jing)(jing)由(you)高(gao)壓(ya)的(de)交流電來(lai)驅動,這部份由(you)反(fan)用(yong)換流器回(hui)路來(lai)提供(gong)。冷陰極管(guan)被(bei)用(yong)在像是(shi)電腦顯(xian)示(shi)器上(shang)(shang),顏色(se)(se)上(shang)(shang)通常(chang)是(shi)白(bai)色(se)(se)的(de),這同樣也(ye)需(xu)要(yao)反(fan)用(yong)換流器和散(san)光(guang)(guang)器。白(bai)熾背(bei)(bei)光(guang)(guang)則在需(xu)要(yao)高(gao)亮度(du)時(shi)被(bei)使用(yong),但(dan)是(shi)其缺點(dian)則是(shi)白(bai)熾燈泡的(de)壽命相當有限,而(er)且會(hui)產生相當多(duo)的(de)熱量。
