精確的鋰離子電池充電器IC

       鋰離子充電電池具有能量密度高、容易制作成各種形狀和尺寸,因此在消費類電子產品中被廣泛使用。但鋰電池需要精確的充電電流和輸出電壓,以優化電池壽命和性能。為了滿足這一需求,飛思卡爾半導體公司推出了MC34671、MC34673和MC34674單輸入自動電池充電器集成電(dian)路(lu)。這(zhe)些器件(jian)采(cai)用了飛思卡爾(er)的(de)SMARTMOS工藝技術,輸入(ru)(ru)(ru)電(dian)壓(ya)可(ke)來自AC適(shi)配器或USB端口電(dian)源。器件(jian)的(de)最大輸入(ru)(ru)(ru)電(dian)壓(ya)為28V,因此可(ke)以(yi)取消(xiao)手持設(she)備的(de)外部輸入(ru)(ru)(ru)過電(dian)壓(ya)保護電(dian)路(lu),有助于降(jiang)低系(xi)統成本和電(dian)路(lu)板空(kong)間。

  芯片內部有寄(ji)存器,飛思卡爾可以(yi)根(gen)據客戶的(de)需求,在生產流(liu)程(cheng)(cheng)結束時(shi)對(dui)管腳(jiao)輸(shu)出、功(gong)能集和充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)參(can)數(shu)(shu)、LED指(zhi)示燈(deng)進行定制,從(cong)而組合成數(shu)(shu)百種配置(zhi),滿足手機(ji)(ji)(ji)、藍牙耳機(ji)(ji)(ji)、數(shu)(shu)碼相(xiang)機(ji)(ji)(ji)、個人媒(mei)體播放器、導航系統、數(shu)(shu)碼相(xiang)機(ji)(ji)(ji)和旅行充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)器等設(she)備的(de)需求。出廠前可編(bian)程(cheng)(cheng)參(can)數(shu)(shu)包括:輸(shu)出電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓(ya)(ya)、輸(shu)入過電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓(ya)(ya)保護、充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)、涓流(liu)充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)、涓流(liu)充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓(ya)(ya)閾值、終(zhong)止充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(EOC)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)、再充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)閾值、熱折返(fan)閾值、超(chao)時(shi)和核查濾(lv)波器定時(shi)。工(gong)廠可重新配置(zhi)的(de)功(gong)能包括:可編(bian)程(cheng)(cheng)指(zhi)示燈(deng)管腳(jiao)功(gong)能、ISET管腳(jiao)(電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)套)、負溫度系數(shu)(shu)(NTC)接(jie)口(kou)選擇、電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池連接(jie)檢驗、終(zhong)止充(chong)(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)(EOC)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)和遠程(cheng)(cheng)傳感。

  MC34671的最大充電電流為600mA,過壓保護電壓為11V,可通過外部電阻設定充電電流,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.2ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC;MC34673的最大充電電流為1.2A,過壓保護電壓為6.8V,可通過外部電阻設定充電電流,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.2ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC;MC34674的初始固定充電電流可設定為50mA~1050mA,涓流充電電流ITRK=0.1ICC,截止充電電流IEOC=0.1ICC,過壓保護電壓為11V,具有超時檢測、NTC和智能電池檢測功能,適用于旅行充電器。即將推出的MC34672支持USB充電(dian),其他規格與前三款(kuan)器件基本相同。

  MC34671和MC34673在(zai)-20℃~+70℃溫度(du)(du)范(fan)(fan)圍內(nei)(nei)的(de)輸出電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓精(jing)(jing)度(du)(du)為±0.7%(室溫下為±0.2%),在(zai)-40℃~+85℃溫度(du)(du)范(fan)(fan)圍內(nei)(nei)的(de)充(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流精(jing)(jing)度(du)(du)為±5%和±6%。MC34674在(zai)-20℃~+70℃溫度(du)(du)范(fan)(fan)圍內(nei)(nei)的(de)輸出電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓精(jing)(jing)度(du)(du)為±0.2%,在(zai)-40℃~+85℃溫度(du)(du)范(fan)(fan)圍內(nei)(nei)的(de)充(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)流精(jing)(jing)度(du)(du)為±8%。高輸出電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)壓精(jing)(jing)度(du)(du)的(de)好處(chu)是可延長電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)池的(de)使用壽命,最大限度(du)(du)地實(shi)現充(chong)電(dian)(dian)(dian)(dian)容量。

  這些器件內部集成了防(fang)止(zhi)電(dian)(dian)(dian)池(chi)反向放(fang)電(dian)(dian)(dian)的場效應(ying)晶體(ti)管(FET)、阻塞二極(ji)管,也無需檢流(liu)(liu)電(dian)(dian)(dian)阻,可(ke)降低系統成本(ben)。器件還有(you)充電(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)(liu)熱(re)(re)過載保護功能(neng),既可(ke)以(yi)在有(you)限(xian)的空(kong)間中(zhong)最大(da)限(xian)度地利用充電(dian)(dian)(dian)電(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)(liu),又不用擔心熱(re)(re)設(she)計(ji)的問題。這些器件具有(you)過電(dian)(dian)(dian)壓保護、過電(dian)(dian)(dian)流(liu)(liu)保護和過熱(re)(re)溫度補償功能(neng),采用2mm×3mm×0.65mm的超薄型雙扁平無引線(xian)(UDFN)耐熱(re)(re)封裝。
